Yaguara documents the unconventional methods of scientists to collect data in an effort to save the Jaguar.
Shot in Panama, it focuses on the conservation efforts of top Jaguar Scientist Ricardo Moreno of the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute. The film tells the story of the plummeting populations of Jaguars in Central America; most of which has been caused by human encroachment or poaching. Yaguara promotes the importance of maintaining a healthy ecosystem for this beautiful species.
